Father's age is three times the sum of his two
children's age. After 5 years his age will be twice
the sum of the ages of two children. Find the age of
father.​

Let the age of his first child be 10x

let the age of his 2nd child be 5x

and

let the age of father be 45x

After five years

age of first child be 10x+5x= 15x

age of second child be 5x+5x= 10x

age of father be 45x+5x= 50x

age of father is 50 years

before 5 years - 45=10+5

45 =15 :- three times

After 5 years - 50 = 15+10

50 = 25 :- 2 times

so the age of father is 50 years
