But the father's behaviour took an unexpected turn. He ordered Swami to dress up and go to school and also composed a long complaint letter to his headmaster regarding Samuel.

Father was reacting against the physical punishment. He had written a letter to the head master and in that later he described Samuel as a violent teacher. He had given letter to Swami and said to him first you deliver letter to your headmaster then go to your class.
