let present age of father be x .
daughters sge be y.
when age of daughter =4
then age of father =y
difference between age of them years is y-4
when father's age =79
daughter's age will be x=79-y+4.
x-y-4=y
x-4=2y(eq.1)
and
x-83=-y(eq.2)

after substracting eq 1 and 2 we get ,+
x-4=2y
-x+83=y
________
79=3y
y=26years
and father = 48 years
