It is normal to have understanding level when you have age or generation gap, so there would be difference of opinion between both.

Also as seeing from a father'point of view no matter what he will always support his son despite being rude or angry with him sometimes at every stage of life.

But son would find it bad that why his father stops him for everything or wuestions him on every step but he will understand it when he himself will become a father

SUGGESTIONS TO BRIDGE THE GAP:

1) Instead of misunderstanding each other they should try to understand each other's mentality and listen what the other person is trying to say.

2) Both father and son should talk to each other to reduce the differences between them and understand opinions of each other.

3) I would also like to suggest that father should not always keep controlling his son in everything, he should support his son to make him positive.
