Answer:

Elder will get 30 Rs.

while,

younger will get 25 Rs.

Step by step explanation:-

Age of younger son = 15 years

Age of elder son = 3 years more than the age of younger son

                            = 18 years + 15 years

                            = 33 years

Ratio of the ages of younger son and elder son is 18 : 15

Let the each of them get Rs x if their age would be 1 years. So younger son will get 15x and elder will get 18x

Sum of money ( amount ) = Rs 55

money of younger son + money of elder son = Rs 55

18x + 15 x = 55

33x = 55

x = 55/33

Therefore.

younger son will get 15x =15 * 55/33 = Rs 825/33 = 25 Rs.

elder son will get 18x = 18 * 55/33

= 990/33 = 30 Rs.

Answer:

Rahul and mohit will get 18:15 of 55rs

so let the common multiple be x

so 18x+15x=55

33x=55

x=5/3

Rahul gets 18x5/3

=30 rs

mohit gets 15x5/3

=25rs
