Father was watering the palnts. aman curiously asked his father that how water reaches from roots to upper parts of plant?

Answer:

first water is absorbed by the roots of the plant and then by osmosis process water enters into the root and then it is supplied to xylem which is located in the middle of the stem and it carries the water to the leaves and then to the other parts of the plant and in some other plants water is stored in their fruits this is how water is reached from roots to the upper parts of plants
