{\huge{\underline{\underline{\mathcal {\green{♡Answer♡}}}}}}

♠ Let the age of father be x

and age of son be y

♣According to Question

x = 3y

x - 3y = 0-----------------(i)

•Four years ago,

(x-4) = 4(y-4)

x - 4 = 4y -16

x - 4y - 4 + 16 = 0.

x - 4y + 12 = 0----------(ii)

♦ by equation i and ii

Y = 12yr and X = 36 yr

Hence, Age of father => 36 years and Age of son => 12 years

Let the age of father be x years and son be y years.

x = 3y

x - 3y = 0⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀...(i)

Four years ago,

(x-4) = 4(y-4)

x - 4 = 4y -16

x - 4y - 4 + 16 = 0.

x - 4y + 12 = 0⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀...(ii)

From equation (i) and (ii):-

y = 12~years \\ x = 36~ years

Age of father = 36 years

Age of son = 12 years
