Let the father age be x + 5

After 5 years their ages will be 2 : 3

=>x+5/x+5+5=2/3
=>3(x+5)=2(x+5+5)
=>3x+15=2x+20
=>3x-2x=20-15
=>x=15

Hence,the son age is 15 years.
