radius = diameter / 2 = 21/ 2 = 11.5 cm
area of circle =  22/7  x 10.5  x  10.5  = 346.5 sq cm
346.5 / 8 = 43.3125 sq cm
therefore area of each piece is 43.3125 sq cm

radius of pizza = 21/2 cm

=> area of the whole pizza = pi * (r)sq. = 22/7 * 21/2 * 21/2  = 693/2 =                                                    = 346.5 sq. cm
therefore,
total area of 8 equal sectors = area of the pizza

=> area of 1 sector or each sector (since they are equal) = area of the                                                                                                   whole/8
                              = 346.5 / 8 = 43.3125 sq.cm
