Punishment is given by parents or teachers etc. to children to teach them a lesson. It is necessary for children at some places. Due to its fear, children maintain discipline and do not break rules.

Children also understand through punishment. Sometimes this fear protects them from danger and mishappenings. So, it leads to discipline.

This fear stays them away from doing something wrong. If punishment is not given to criminals, they will plunder.
