Answer:

Features of forests:-

1. Forests are a breath of fresh air

With a little help from the sun and a process called photosynthesis, trees are able to provide us and other animals with fresh air. They absorb the carbon dioxide (CO2) we breathe out and transform it into clean oxygen (O2).

2. Forests are home sweet home

Whether it's insects in the leaf litter, a bird in a tree or a squirrel jumping from branch to branch, you're bound to see some sort of animals when you visit a forest. That's because 2/3 of all the animal species in Canada call forests home.

3. Forests give us lots of things

Whether it's the paper we use for taking notes, the cartons that hold your eggs or even the lumber used in your home, so many of the things we use every day come from forests.

4. Forests give us a way of life

Forests aren't just important to Canada's plants and animals they also provide jobs to almost a million of people (directly and indirectly) across the country.

5. Forests are good for the Soul

Do you ever feel refreshed and re-energised after playing among the trees? Studies have shown that being out in forests can improve your immune system, decrease stress and blood pressure, and improve your overall mood.

So these are some points about features of forests, forests are really useful !... don't you think?
