Features of the Indian Constitution are as follows:-

• Written and enacted Constitution :- Our Indian Constitution is the wholly written Constitution. It was enacted on 26 January,1950 .
• Adult Franchise:- Our Indian Constitution provides right to vote to each and every individual who is of 18 years of age and above. This right is given fairly to everyone irrespective to their caste,class,religion, colour,language,birth place,etc.
• Fundamental rights:- Our Indian Constitution provides initially seven fundamental rights to its citizens. But after the deletion of right to property from the list,there number has come down to six.
• Fusion of Unitarianism and Federalism:- Indian Constitution provides rights to centre as well as states also to govern their territories. In Constitution the powers and functions of both the centre and states was defined clearly.
