Father's Day Celebration at BCM Basant City

Students of BCM School Basant City celebrated Father's Day with great enthusiasm. They created gifts and cards for their Father. Some students wrote poems. They shared their experience with other students and teachers also. Principal, J.P. Singh said, "We celebrate and honour caregivers as it is an opportunity to recognise the diversity of family structures."

International Yoga Day by DAV Pakhowal Road

The staff and students of DAV Pakhowal Road Ludhiana gave a healthy start to their routine by celebrating International Yoga Day today at 7 a.m. Amidst the Covid 19 situation, the school Physical Education Dept. came forward to have an online session on Yogic Practice. Rajesh Thakur, HOD Sports along with his team used virtual platform to guide and revise Yogic drills.

The morning kicked off with a holy beginning with a short prayer to foster devotion. The prayer session was followed by a short orientation speech by Rajesh Thakur.

Ryan celebrates 1st Virtual International Yoga Day

6th International Yoga day was celebrated at Ryan International School, Ludhiana. It was the first Virtual Yoga day which was enthusiastically celebrated by the entire school. The teachers and students from Montessori to Class- 12 performed different asans under the guidance of school PETs. Students from various classes shared their photos and videos while performing asans.

On this occasion, School principal, Gurpal Anand, told the importance and need of practicing yoga to stay fit and healthy.

She further told that the celebration of International Yoga Day is a reminder for all individuals to incorporate Yoga every day to enjoy a happy and blissful life and reduce the effect of stress and other physical ailments.
