Answer:

Given :-

  • Ratio of drawing to ground = 1:7
  • Width of ground = 98 yards

To Find :-

Width in his drawing

SoluTion :-

It is given that

 \sf \: 1 \: inch \ratio \: 7 \: yard

Let the width be x

 \sf \therefore \:  \dfrac{1}{7}  =  \dfrac{x}{98}

By cross multiplication

 \sf \: 1 \times 98 = 7  \times x

 \sf \: 98 = 7 x

 \sf \: x \:  =  \dfrac{98}{7}

 \sf \: x \:  = 14 \: inch
