Fern is a vascular plant. Yet it is not considered a phaneropams.why

Answer:It is true that the ferns have vascular system in their body. But still they do not fall in the category of the phanerogams.

It is because ferns do not give seeds. And only those plants which produce or gives seeds falls under the phanerogam group. So, ferns are not considered in this category.

However, ferns fall in the group of Pteridophytes.
