fertilisers have enabled manifold increase in crop production. At the same time, they have caused degradation of our environment. Discuss whether science and technology has helped to increase yield or our problems.

fertilizers contains some chemicals which helps plants in their growth fastly .so it increases the production but they r toxic for humans . so the fertilizer is mix with the water table through roots of plants and carried away by rivers and the villagers use that water and get diseased so it causes water polluted indirectly

Technology has its own advantages and disadvantages while the increase in technology has increase our yield at the same time it has also ruined or land by degrading its mineral capability. But with increase in yield farmers reap high profits and more number of people are getting food with better yield. But the land is being degraded with increase in amount of fertilisers. A great step would be that less amount of fertilisers ate used only in a specific given period of time.
