fertilization takes place internaly in hens however they never give birth to young ones. why ?

Answer: first a fall i would like to tell tell you that there are two types of fertilization internal and external fertilization and in hens internal fertilization takes place and they lay eggs .
Explanation: The hens are not able to give birth to young ones because in their egg the enough nutrient which is required to give birth to young ones is not present.
