Diana Nyad, the famous American author has wisely said, ‘Swimming is probably the ultimate of burnout sports.’ It is true swimming is a wonderful exercise. It is the only exercise that refreshes while sweating off. One feels so relaxed in water. Swimming is called the perfect exercise. It improves overall muscle strength and bones of the body as all muscles and bones exert when one is swimming. Swimming improves the functioning of all the systems in our body such as lungs, heart, digestion, etc. Swimming also helps us lower stress and depression. Swimming in salt water is good for skin. Swimming also helps us stay young. So swimming is a wonderful exercise, we must enjoy it.
