Farm animals are those animals that are raised in a farm. Some birds are also included under the farm animals category. These animals and birds are also termed as domestic animals. They are primarily herbivorous and do not eat meat. They are also usually not harmful to human beings.

Examples of farm animals that we see in our day to day life are horses, pigs, cows, sheep, hens and ducks to mention just a few.
