Ram Navami is a great Hindu festival of our country. The birth of Lord Rama, who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is observed as Ram Navami. Lord Rama is the son of Dhasaratha, the King of Ayodhya. Ram Navami is popular in the northern states of India and it falls on the 9th day of Hindu month Chaitra (March-April).
