In our ancient Vedas, it is clearly mentioned how important plants are to us humans and animals. It is believed that if we grow a sapling in our former birth, then we shall receive good infants in our future births...
Plants supply us with ample amount of oxygen.
They give us wood, timber etc. needed for making furniture.
They give us healthy fruit and vegetables.
They maintain the ecological balance in nature and bring rain to us..
They provide us shelter and takes care of us like a mother..
Indeed Plants have a lot of botanical and medicinal uses and it is thus our duty to stop deforestation and encourage Van Mahotsavas..
