Clean India Campaign - 10 Point Program

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan(Clean India Campaign)was officially launched on 2 October 2014 by our Prime Minister Narendra Modiand this Clean India Campaign is a national level campaign by the Government of India covering 4041 statutory towns to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country. The campaign is India's biggest ever cleanliness drive and the mission was started as a tree with each of the nine personalities nominated by our Prime Minister Modi to in turn nominate nine other people and so on. It has been carried forward since then with famous people from all walks of life joining it.
Clean India Campaign is NOT ONLY about cleaning the streets, roads and infrastructure but about bringing environmental awareness towards ecological sustenance – energy conservation, waste management, water conservation etc.
I am proposing a 10 (Ten) points program to facilitate the implementation of this program.
1) Encourage and influence our Prime Minister in 2015 Budget to have additional budget approved for Clean India Campaign with a definite plan towards cleanliness drive, ecological sustenance – energy conservation, waste management, water conservation, reducing environmental pollution etc
2) Change begins with oneself. Cleanliness begins at home, in your society, community. It is important to manage and segregate waste, organic waste, recyclable waste, hazardous waste, harness solar power and request to take the lead, bring awareness around and implement
3) Volunteering for minimum 3 hours in one month for Clean India Campaign
4) Educate Children in bringing awareness in schools, colleges and parents/siblings volunteer in school, college events to drive awareness and participate in implementation
5) Encourage growing Organic produce at the cost of normal produce. This can happen in no time if we BAN chemicals and pesticides in food crops and produce
6) Plant more saplings especially around concrete jungles, highways, nurturing and taking care of Saplings since Trees are our external lungs
7) Green Buildings mandatory for all new Real estate constructions
8) Alternative fuel – hybrid cars, electric, bio-fuel manufacturing auto-mobile plants in India
9) Enforce Population control mechanism, Rehabilitation centres for hungry, poor and needy
10) Inner cleanliness is very important and learn Yoga as a tool and technology for inner well-being.
