1. DNA is a complex molecule due to its helical structure .DNA has to strands which are held together by hydrogen bonding this double stranded structure makes continuous twist throughout its body.
2. The middle skin layer called the basal layer is scrunched between the inside layer ( the epidermis ) as the faster growing basal layer strains against its neighbour the pressure causes the skin to buckle forming folds of the epidermis to dermis and resulting in complex patterns seen on our fingers today. nerves are said to play a part in this process as well as they are hypothesized to be the origin of the forces that pull in the epidermis. this patterns are permanent and cannot be destroyed by any injuries. In this way fingerprints are formed
3. Xylem-- the vascular tissue in plants which conducts water and dissolved nutrients upwards from the root and also helps to form the woody elements in the stem.
Phloem-- the vascular tissue in plants which conducts sugar and other metabolic products downwards from the leaves
Working of Xylem and Phloem
the main workings of Xylem is that it transports water and minerals from roots to aerial parts of the plant.
whereas the main workings of Phloem is that transportation of food and nutrients such as sugar and amino acids from leaves to storage organs and growing parts of plant this movement of substance is called translocation
