Answer:

I have solved u in two ways which one u like prefer it

Step-by-step explanation:

In first a

By exterior angle property

60 +50=x

=110=X

BY SIMILARLIY IN (B)

Y+40=120

Y=80

ANOTHER METHOD

SUM OF ANGLES IN TRIANGLE IS 180

SO IN (A)

180-110=/_acb

Acb=70deg

So x +acb=180 i)linear pair

X=180-70=110

Same way by linear pairin(B)

180-120=prq (linearpair)

60 +y+40=180 sum of int angles of triangle

Y=180-100=80

Use my 1methid for 2marks

And 2nd method for 3 or 4 marks

Hope it helps

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer to first figure

In Δ ABC ∠A + ∠B + ∠C  = 180°

∠A + ∠B + ∠C  = 180°

60° +  50° + ∠C = 180°

110° + ∠C = 180°

∠C = 180° - 110°

∠C = 70°

∠AXD + ∠ACB = 180° [Supplementary angles]

∠AXD = 180 - ∠ACB

∠AXD = 180 - 70

∠AXD = 110°

Answer to second figure

∠PYS + ∠PRQ = 180°

120 + ∠PRQ = 180

∠PRQ  = 180 - 120

∠PRQ  = 60°

ΔPQR = ∠P + ∠Q + ∠R = 180°

∠P + 40 + 60 = 180

∠P = 180 - 100

∠P = 80°
