||✪✪ GIVEN ✪✪||

  • Length of Hall = 20m .
  • Breadth = 16m.
  • Area of Floor + Area of roof = Area of Four walls .

To Find :-

  • Height of the wall ?

|| ✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰ ||

we know That :-

Area of floor = Area of Roof = Length * Breadth .

→ Area of Four walls = 2(Length + Breadth) * Height

Putting values now, we get :-

20*16 + 20*16 = 2(20+16) * Height

→ 320 + 320 = 2 * 36 * Height

→ 640 = 72 * Height .

Dividing both sides by 72,

Height = 8.88m.

Hence, Height of The wall is 8.88m.

Answer:

8.88 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

length of a hall = 20 m

Width of the hall = 16 m

Let the height be "h".

And also given that,

Sum of the areas of the floor and flat roof = Area of the four walls.

Areas of the flat roof and floor are equal.

length*breadth + length *breadth =

(length+breadth +length +breadth ) height.

2*l*b = 2(l+b)h

l*b = (l+b)h

20m*16m = (20m+16m)h

320 m² = (36 m)h

h = 320m²/36m

h = 8.88 m.
