Hey Mate ❤️ ❤️❤️

your answer is..........

from Lower nodes

Root is the portion of the main branch that goes into the soils and provides  anchorage to the plant.  Roots are of two types- taproots and fibrous roots.  In  fibrous roots, the primary root is short-lived but a cluster of slender, fiber-like roots arises that makes up the fibrous root system. This type of root system is found in most of the monocots. However, in maize, the fibrous roots is a nodal root system where the roots originate at one of the lower stem nodes of the plants. While the bulk of the root system grows from the  5 nodes below the soil surface, brace roots that grow from nodes present above  the soil surface brace the plant from winds.
