SOLUTION:

Given, Fifteen boys are standing in a row facing opposite direction alternately from left to right.  

The fourth boy from left is facing towards the east  

We have to find the fifth boy from the right is facing which direction?

Now, the fifth boy the right means that, he is in position of (15 – 5 + 1) position from left

Hence, we have to find direction of 11th person from left.

According to given information, 4th person is standing in east facing.

Then, 6th , 8th ,10th ,12th persons will also in east facing, as all the students are facing alternatively.

Then, 11th person will face west, as 10th and 12th persons are facing east.

Hence, 5th person from right is in west direction.
