☞ Fifteen years from now.. (means after fifteen years) Ravi age will be four times his present age.

Let present age of Ravi be M.

• After (plus) fifteen years Ravi age will (equal to) be four times (multiply) his present age (M)

i.e. 4 × M

A.T.Q.

=> 15 + M = 4M

=> 15 = 4M - M

=> 15 = 3M

=> 3M = 15

=> M = \dfrac{15}{3}

=> M = 5

☞ We have to find the present age of Ravi i.e. M

From above calculation M = 5.

So, present age of Ravi is 5 years

__________ [ANSWER]

✡ We have M = 5 and equation according to question is 4M = 15 + M

Now..

Put value of M in above equation.

=> 4(5) = 15 + (5)

=> 20 = 20
