\Huge{\boxed{Solution}}}

==================

Given :

15 year from now Ravi's

age will be 4 times his

present age.

==================

To find :

What is present age ?

==================

Let the present age of Ravi's

is 'x'.

==================

So,

 According to the question

 after fifteen year Ravi's age

 will be 4 times his present

 age. And the present age

 is 'x'.

==================

So,

 Here we have to solve this

equation ⇒ 4x = 15 + x

==================

Let us solve,

⇒ 4x = 15 + x

⇒ 4x - x = 15

⇒ 3x = 15

⇒ x = \dfrac{15}{3}

⇒ x = 5

==================

Verification of our answer : -

To verify our answer we have

to put '5' at the place of 'x'.

⇒ 4 × 5 = 15 + 5

⇒ 20  = 20

L.H.S = R.H.S

hence, it is verified

==================

∴ Present age of Ravi's is

 5 year

☞ Fifteen years from now.. (means after fifteen years) Ravi age will be four times his present age.

Let present age of Ravi be M.

• After (plus) fifteen years Ravi age will (equal to) be four times (multiply) his present age (M)

i.e. 4 × M

A.T.Q.

=> 15 + M = 4M

=> 15 = 4M - M

=> 15 = 3M

=> 3M = 15

=> M = \dfrac{15}{3}

=> M = 5

☞ We have to find the present age of Ravi i.e. M

From above calculation M = 5.

So, present age of Ravi is 5 years

__________ [ANSWER]

✡ We have M = 5 and equation according to question is 4M = 15 + M

Now..

Put value of M in above equation.

=> 4(5) = 15 + (5)

=> 20 = 20
