 Here we have to solve this

equation ⇒ 4x = 15 + x

Let us solve,

⇒ 4x = 15 + x

⇒ 4x - x = 15

⇒ 3x = 15

⇒ x = $\dfrac{15}{3}$

⇒ x = 5

To verify our answer we have

to put '5' at the place of 'x'.

⇒ 4 × 5 = 15 + 5
