Answer:

Let Ravi's present age be x years.

After 15 years, his age will be (x+15) years.

It is given that after 15 years, Ravi's age will be four times his present age.

∴4x=x+15

⇒4x−x=15

⇒3x=15

⇒x= 15/3

=5

Hence, Ravi's present age is 5 years.

\huge\Large\underline\mathtt\green{Given \: :-}

  • Let present age of Ravi = x years.
  • His age after 15 years = x + 15 years.

⟹ x + 15 = 4x

⟹ 15 = 4x - x

⟹ 15 = 3x

⟹ 15/3 = x

5 = x
