\textbf{\underline{Answer :-}}

The present age of the man is 45 years.

\textbf{\underline{Explanation :-}}

\textsf{\underline{Given :-}}

15 years later : Man will be twice of he was 15 years ago.

\textsf{\underline{To Find :-}}

His present age

\textsf{\underline{Solution :-}}

Consider the man's age as x

\tt{\implies x +15= 2(x - 15)}

\tt{\implies \: x  + 15 = 2x - 30}

\tt{\implies \: x - 2x =  - 30 - 15}

\tt{\implies - x =  - 45}

\tt{\implies{\cancel{ - }}x = {\cancel{ - }}45}

\tt{\implies \: x = 45}

Therefore the present age of the man is 45 years.

\textbf{\underline{Verification :-}}

\tt{\implies45 + 15 = 2(45 - 15)}

\tt{\implies60 = 90 - 30}

\tt{\implies60 = 60}

\thereforeLHS = RHS

\thereforeThe present age of the man is 45 years.
