Hans Christian Oersted was a scientist which made a hilarious discovery which was enough to excite the scientific World . He was the first who observed in his lab , that when current it passed through a conductor, it shows magnetic properties. He observed this as he passed current through a conductor and the compass lying over there showed deflection.( Compass needle is a small magnet .)
