Fig. 3.1 shows a weather balloon. The balloon is shown partly filled with gas from a cylinder.​

  1. As they r highly compressed and there r large number of than normal condition. So they exert large pressure
  2. Bez the number of gas molecules got decreased than it was there before filling the balloon so the pressure decreased due to decreased in amount of gas molecules
  3. Numerical :-

V1= 0.002m3, P1 = 200 atm, P2 =1 atm

V1 = 0.002m3=2lts

Using

 \frac{P1}{V1}  =   \frac{P2}{V2}

 \frac{200}{2}  =  \frac{1}{V2}

 \frac{100}{1}  =   \frac{1}{V2}

V2=0.01 liters or 0.00001 m3
