Option c which is 0.2 m you cannot measure as it is a cm scale and 0.2 m is quite a large value which exceeds the limitations of the scale

Solution :-
As we can see that, the given measuring scale shows,
- Cm in one side => 0 cm to 15 cm .
- Inches on another side => 0 inch to 6 inch (approx) .
we know that,
- 1m = 100 cm .
So, Checking given options we get,
a) 0.1 m
→ 0.1 * 100
→ 10.0 cm
→ 10 cm
we can measure 10 cm in first time only .
b) 0.15 m
→ 0.15 * 100
→ 15.00 cm
→ 15 cm
we can measure 15 cm in first time only .
c) 0.2 m
→ 0.2 * 100
→ 20.0 cm
→ 20 cm
Since 20 cm is greater than 15 cm , we can't measure 20 cm in first time . First we have to measure upto 15 cm and then we have to measure next length as 5 cm . (15 cm + 5cm = 20 cm.)
d) 0.05 m
→ 0.05 * 100
→ 5.00 cm
→ 5 cm
we can measure 5 cm in first time only .
Hence, Option (C) 0.2 m is correct answer .
