i) Probability that the selected plant is a fruit plant or a flowering plant = 13/30

ii) Probability that the selected plant is either a Neem plant or a Peepal plant = 29/60

Total number of plants saplings planted = 600

Total number of fruit and flowering plants = 260

The probability of getting a fruit or flowering plant = 260/600 = 13/30

Total number of neem plant and peepal plants = 290

The probability of getting a neem plant or a peepal plant = 290/600 = 29/60
