An onion peel is the membrane like sheaths present between each onion layer. The cell of an onion peel consist of a cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus and a large vacuole. The nucleus is present in the periphery of the cytoplasm and the vacuole is present at the center of the cell.
