Distance = 0
Becoz graph is framing a straight line
Parallel to the x axis

Answer : Distance, d = 4.92 km

Explanation :

From the graph it is clear that the speed of a particle is constant i.e. 15 km/h or 4.1 m/s.

Area under speed time graph gives distance covered by the particle.

Distance covered by the particle in t = 10 min or 600 s :

d=speed\times time

d=4.1\ m/s\times 600\ s

d=2460\ m

Distance covered by the particle in t = 30 min or 1800 s :

d=speed\times time

d=4.1\ m/s\times 1800\ s

d=7380\ m

So, the distance covered by the particle between t = 10 min to t = 30 min is :

d=7380\ m-2460\ m

d=4920\ m

or

d=4.92\ km

Hence, this is the required solution.
