Now, Let's come to the point .

We have to find average velocity during t = 0 to t =6 sec
we know, average velocity = total displacement/total time taken,
Here, displacement = 10m in 0 ≤ t ≤ 1
displacement = 0 m in 1 ≤ t ≤ 4
displacement = 20 - 10 = 10m in 4 ≤ t ≤ 5
displacement = 0 - 20 = -20m in 5 ≤ t ≤ 6
so, total displacement = 10 + 0 + 10 - 20 = 0
total time taken = 6 sec
So, average velocity = 0/6 = 0 m/s

Instantaneous velocity at (t = 3) = slope of velocity time graph at x = 3 .
But you see slope of velocity time graph at t = 3 is zero.
Hence, instantaneous velocity at (t = 3) = 0
