  • As the magnetic lines of force start from the north pole and end at the south pole, using the direction of the magnetic lines of force the north and south poles of a magnet can be identified.
  • Similarly, in the case of positive and negative terminals. The magnetic lines of force start from the positive terminal and end at the negative terminal.
