To Find,

The displacement of the particle from t = 6 s to t = 10 s.

Solution,

The displacement of a particle is the area closed by the curve in the velocity time graph.

Now, from t = 6 s to t = 10 s the curve forms the shape of a triangle.

So, displacement will be equal to the area of the triangle

Displacement = Area of triangle

Displacement = 1/2*base*height

where base = 4 and height = 8

So,

Displacement = 1/2*4*8 = 16 m

Hence, the displacement of the particle is 16 m.
