Answer:

a) Burning of wood and coal causes pollution of air.

This is because the burning of wood and coal create carbon dioxide and carbon contents which causes pollution.

(b) A liquid fuel used in homes is LPG.

This is called liquid Petroleum Gas. This best for cooking.

(c) Fuel must be heated to its ignition temperature before it starts burning.

Fuel burn well at ignition temperature. It emits maximum heat at this temperature.

(d) Fire produced by oil cannot be controlled by water.

Because water could not be able to cut the fire source in oil. Oils are flammable fuels which can catch fire at a distance.
