Based on the structure of their stems, plants are classified into herbs, shrubs, trees, creepers, and climbers.

Herbs have delicate green stems, while shrubs have bushy and hard stems with branches. Trees have thicker and harder stems known as trunks. Creepers have very easily breakable stems that cannot bear the plants’ weight. Climbers have weaker stems that are stronger than that of creepers.
