All magnets have two poles and two like poles always repel each other whereas, unlike poles attract each other.

Therefore, the north pole of one magnet will get attracted to the south pole of another magnet.

Both the poles have magnetic field lines that radiate outward from these poles.

The magnetic field lines never cross each other and bunch together in places where the field is strongest.

It also means that the density of field lines show the corresponding field strength.
