The correct options of the prepositions in the brackets will be chosen to complete the sentences as under:

  1. The books are kept on the inner part of the almirah and so the option inside will be chosen to complete the sentence as " The books are inside the almirah."
  2. While talking about the location in which a person stays we should use the preposition ' in ' and so by using this the sentence will be " My best friend lives in Punjab."
  3. The preposition ' to ' is used when a person goes somewhere and in this sentence, the place is our shop and the sentence will be " Are you coming to our shop today?"
  4. While walking next to something that is long and thin the preposition ' along ' should be used and the gap will be filled with this word " The poet was walking along the road."
  5. Similarly, like the third sentence even in this sentence, a person is going somewhere (to meet his son), so the preposition ' to ' will be put in the gap like " The man went to meet his son."
