Answer:1. MAY/CAN I know your name?

             2. He MAY/WILL not like it.

             3. You SHOULD not give up.

             4.  This car MAY/SHOULD not be expensive.

             5. I CAN not believe that she got a promotion after working for just three months.

             6. You SHOULD/MUST not talk to strangers.

             7. You MUST do your homework first if you want me to let you go with your friends.

             8. How CAN/WILL you say such a thing.

             9. He MAY/WILL arrive late tonight.

            10. MAY/SHOULD I help you.

*There's no such compulsion that only these modals can be filled in the blanks as it totally depends on the behavior, tone of the speaker and also our perception.

Explanation:1. 'MAY' If you want to be formal with the person and 'CAN' if informal.

2. 'MAY' If the speaker is not certain about 'his' likes and dislikes, 'WILL' if the speaker is certain about it.

3. Whenever we say something provable or arguable or, in case of any advice, we use 'SHOULD'.

4. 'MAY' If the speaker is not certain about the price/cost of the car and is just assuming it be cheap, 'SHOULD' if the speaker does not really like the car or if the car, in real, is not pretty good.

5. 'CAN' because the statement clearly requires a modal that determines the 'ability' of the speaker to not believe.

6. 'SHOULD' because...*refer to point 3.*, 'MUST' if this statement is being given by some one who really cares about the other person.

7.'MUST' because...*refer to point 6.*

8.'CAN' if the thing that has been said is 'nasty, ugly or just not true'. 'WILL' if the thing that is about to be said is a daring thing to say.

9.'MAY' if the speaker is not certain about 'his' arrival, 'WILL' because...*refer to point 2.*
