They are :
✰ Positive Degree :

✰ Comparative Degree:
This shows a comparison between two persons or things. We use than in the comparative degree.

✰ Superlative Degree:
This shows a comparison between more than two persons or things. We use the before the superlative degree.

• We add er and est to the positive degree with the words of one syllable.

• We add only r or st if the positive degree and with e.
Example:- fine | finer | finest
• We change y to i and add er or est if the positive degree ends with y.

Example:- hot | hotter | hottest
• We add more and most to the positive degree with adjectives of more than one syllable.
