To locate a point, we need to know its latitude, as well as Longitudes.

The longitudes are identified with the help of degrees. Prime meridian represents the zero degrees longitude. In the Eastern Hemisphere, the longitudes are designated as degrees east (°E), e.g. 10°E, 20°E, and so on till 180°. Same is the case with the Western Hemisphere. Further, the degrees are divided into minutes and minutes into seconds.☺
