Let say missing friction is P

Multiplying both sides by 10

=> 7 - 10P = 3

Subtracting 3 from both sides

=> 7 - 3 - 10P = 0

=> 4 - 10P = 0

=>  Adding 10 P both sides

=> 4 - 10P + 10P = 0 + 10P

=>  4 = 10P

Dividing both sides by 10

=> 4/10 = P

=> P = 4/10

=> P = 2/5

missing fraction = 2/5

7/10 - 4/10  = 3/10
