Euler's rule is ( Face + vertices - edge = 2 )

arranging or changing the names and the formula structure does not affect the math. So, let's come to problem. Observe carefully.

1. faces= 6; vertices=8; edges= x( since it is unknown we must take a variable for consideration)

solution= 6+8-x=2

or, 14-x=2

or, -x = 2-14

or, x= 12 ( negative signs are getting cancelled) edges= 12

so , edge is 12

2. faces= 6

vertices=x

edges=12

solution= 6+x-12= 2

or,x= 2+12-6

or, x= 8. vertices= 8

3. Faces = 8

vertices= x

edges= 10

solution= 8+x-10= 2

or, x= 2 +10 - 8

or, x= 4. vertices= 4

4. Faces= x

vertices= 4

edge= 8

solution= x+4-8= 2

or, x= 2+8-4

or, x= 6. faces= 6

5. faces= x

vertices= 4

edges= 10

solution= x+4-10= 2

or, x= 2+10-4

or, x= 8. faces= 8

hope it helps.
