here by finding the value of d .we can find x. d=(6x-2)-(8x+4)
6x-2-8x-4
-2x-6
-2x=6
so x=-3
6x-2-8x-4
-2x-6
-2x=6
so x=-3

then, 2b = a + c
2(6x -2) = (8x + 4) + (2x + 7)
12x - 4 = 10x + 11
2x = 15
Thus, x = 7.5
